Font design

Cogneus offers a custom font design service and a font "rejuvenation" service for your company. We also modify numerals and design small capitals. By differentiating the font weight according to the on-screen display size we are able to reduce font sizes to your needs exactly. Please note that license terms and conditions apply when editing standard fonts.

Modifications

We can add your pictograms and logos as symbols to logofonts or additional characters to enable you to incorporate specific symbols within a text. We can extend your font by adding Latin special characters for Western and Eastern European languages. We can adapt spacing and pairwise kerning to your exact application needs, e.g. printed media or on-screen display.

Technology

We produce using all standard and internationally used font formats: TrueType, OpenType and OpenType Pro. For TrueType formats we can optimise each character by applying delta hinting. For monochrome displays we can convert your fonts into bitmap character sets.
